Solar PV Provides 72% Of Electricity Demand In April!
Golf Clubs are generally high energy users with cafe’s, bars and kitchens in consistent use. Vicars Cross was no exception and used over 120,000kWh’s per year. We checked back in with the sites general manager and he was delighted to report how well the system was performing. The data from the app really backs this up and shows that the solar system provided 72% of the clubs electricity requirement during April!.
A Fox Hybrid inverter was installed but no batteries at the time, however this is now a serious consideration to capture surplus PV generation and power the club through the night!
